I know, it sounds crazy. Bananas and collard greens? Am I insane? Maybe. But truthfully this is one of my favorite smoothies. When I have a whole bunch of collard greens I stick them in the blender with a frozen banana and some plant-based milk. When I need to, I add a scoop of chocolate protein powder to it and indulge in this healthy and hearty smoothie.
2-3 collard greens
1 fresh or frozen banana
1/2 cup plant-based milk
1 scoop chocolate protein powder (optional)
2 tablespoons hemp seed (optional)
Blend the above ingredients and drink up!
