A tribute post to our college peanut butter banana smoothie addition: My best friend/former Tallahassee roommate, Indigo, and I used to drink these on the regular. Seriously, probably about three times a week. Except I've jazzed it up a bit with some cacao nibs this time around. Oh, nostalgia is hitting me like a wave... Nothing quite like those college days, huh Indie? Le sigh.
1 frozen banana
1 heaping tablespoon all natural non-hydrogenated peanut butter
1 cup unsweetened cashew milk, or plant-based milk of your preference
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon cacao nibs
Raw local honey, to taste
Place the above into a blender and blend until smooth. Garnish with extra cacao nibs if desired.
