Pina Colada Protein Smoothie anyone? Yes please.
1/3 cup fresh pineapple
1 small ripe banana
1 date, optional (for a little extra added sweetness)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 scoop plant-based vanilla protein powder
3/4 cup unsweetened coconut milk from the carton
2 tablespoons unrefined organic coconut oil
2 tablespoons shelled hemp seed
1/2 teaspoon diatomaceous earth, optional (it is very high in natural silica)
In a blender add the above ingredients. Blend on high until liquidy smooth, then blend an extra few seconds longer than you usually would to really break up the hemp seed. Pour and serve!
