Aqua fresca translates to 'fresh water'. It is a refreshing beverage made typically from fruits that have been blended with water. It's somewhere between a juice and a smoothie: It's not concentrated enough to be a juice and not thick enough to be a smoothie. It's more of a fruity refresher. You can make aqua fresca with any water-based fruit such as melons and pineapple. They are a great way to re-hydrate and cool down when hot.

These muffins remind me of summers during my childhood. My grandma is the reason I am passionate about food. She taught me everything I know about how to cook, food pairings, flavor profiles, and what it means to love others with food. Each summer we'd be in her little kitchen baking blueberry muffins to enjoy outside over looking Miami Bay. These blueberry muffins ooze not only yummy blueberry goodness but to me, they also ooze memories of family and love.
This soup has never let me down. It is hearty, delicious and easy to make. It's the perfect soup to whip up on a rainy day when you're needing a big bowl of healthy comfort food. As my neighbor Liz says "I don't know what you put in that soup but it's like eating crack". Not the most appropriate description, but hey! I'll take it!
